10 Location Drawing 04/10

From the beginning, I thought it was embarrassing for me drawing people outside, especially when they passed by and noticed that I was staring at them.

I could remember that a little girl was holding her teacher’s hand, and raised her head, looked at the teacher then asked, “Are they artists?”, and the teacher said “Yes, they are!”

Also, it was difficult sketched outdoor because everyone was moving, after the class, I went to the Tate Britain, and I thought that was a suitable place to draw people and the atmosphere.

I was thinking about how to present an atmosphere through my painting, and when one day, my roommate was depressed, I immediately draw that vibe, I found it was really amazing that the length of the line could show her mood.

For the final discovery, I think it is not that important to catch people’s face and describe it clearly, the emotion can also be shown by the stress of a line or change of colour.
